English is the international standard language of communication. In our daily life, it is impossible to communicate and expand our knowledge without English. The majority of books, magazines, journals and newspapers are printed in English. Most colleges and universities provide their courses in English. It is in fact quite difficult to access and use the internet without the English language. More job opportunities are available for a person who can speak English well. English language also widens the scope of expanding the business at the International level. In the field of research, English plays a very crucial role. It gives opportunity to communicate and collaborate with scientists from all over the world. USA, UK and Canada are among the top English speaking countries.

Together, we represent the largest economic development services organisation in the world. There is immerse power when a group of people with similar interests gets together to work toward the same goals.

This programme is specifically designed for the secondary students as a part of our company's corporate social responsibility, dedicated initiative and commitment to promote English language as a second language (ESL).
We are organising this competition with an aim to reflect different dimensions of the diverse and complex scope of learning English.
This programme will be conducted every month and allowing all those secondary students to submit their writing skills in English language.
The students participation will be divided into TWO groups as below:
(a) Group 1 is for Form 4 and Form 5 students.
(b) Group 2 is for Form 1, Form 2 and Form 3 students.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. We will publish all those 5 (five) essay topics every month.
2. The students who are participating in this monthly competition need to choose and submit only 1 (one) topic of the related essays.
3. The students are given 45 calendar days to submit their essay from the date which we publish the related topics.
4. The students must fill up both forms, FORM A1 and FORM A2.
5. FORM A1 is about building your skills in creating English language simple sentences and the student must fill up or creates at least 3 sentences for each column; Column A, B and C. For Column D, you are encourage to find and understand the meaning of 2 (two) English proverbs everyday. Write down 5 (five) English words together with it meanings/definitions which you might learn everyday in column E.
6. For FORM A1, you must fill up, compile and submit at least 14 FORMs with different dates and sentences in order for you to qualify for the related competition.
7. FORM A2 is about essay writing. You must write an essay for 1 (one) of the topics which to be given or published by us every month.
8. All works can be completed by both, either by using your handwriting or typing format and the samples or model answers for both, FORM A1 and FORM A2 are as given below.
9. All of the winners of the month will be notified via email. Your successful workmanship will be published and rewarded. Your name as well as your school name will be published on our company's website.
10. The winning price will be credited into your KWSP/EPF account (for those who are registered with KWSP/EPF). For those who are non-members of KWSP/EPF, the winning price will be given by crediting it into your e-wallet or a banker cheque/money order will be sent to your requested address.
